Improving the hospital experience for older people
Article Abstract:
The older people might receive good care for the ailment that took them to hospital even though the needs are often neglected as emotional care is very important for them when they are ill since they are more dependant on others than most adults. Some of the key features of the skills development project are to improve general hospital care, to use action learning and critical companionship to develop care and to engage senior management as well.
