Interaction of P-selectin and PSGL-1 generates microparticles that correct hemostasis in a mouse model of hemophilia A
Article Abstract:
Chimeras of P-selectin and immunoglobulin induced formation of procoagulant microparticles in human blood through P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1. It is believed that P-sel-lg treatment could become a new approach to sustained control of bleeding in hemophilia.

Nucleotides and cd39: principal modulatory players in hemostasis and thrombosis
Article Abstract:
The discovery of the cd39 protein in endothelial cells shows that ATP, ADP, and AMP help regulate blood clotting. cd39 hydrolyzes nucleotides, converting ATP/ADP to AMP. ATP/ADP promote blood clotting whereas AMP inhibits blood clotting.

Targeted disruption of cd39/ATP diphosphohydrolase results in disordered hemostasis and thromboregulation
Article Abstract:
The cd39/ATP diphosphohydrolase regulates hemostasis and thrombosis by converting ATP/ADP to AMP. The enzyme is located in endothelial cells and other cells.
