Intermittent low-level viremia in very early primary HIV-1 infection
Article Abstract:
The onset of viremia marks a critical time point in the natural history of HIV infection because it indicates infectivity of the exposed individual with the potential for secondary transmissions. It is concluded that low-level viremia is not uncommon during the very early period of primary HIV infection preceding ramp-up viremia.

A dual superinfection and recombination within HIV-1 subtype B 12 years after primoinfection
Article Abstract:
Viral quasispecies were analyzed in pol and env genes in several plasma samples to analyze superinfection in an HIV-1-infected individuals showing high-risk practices. Results suggest a superinfection with 2 HIV-1 strains, one of which showed the T215Y + M184V resistance mutations.
