Ionising radiations regs CD out
Article Abstract:
Health and Safety Executive (HSE) officials are calling for comments on their proposed changes to the UK Ionising Radiations Regulations 1985. A European Union directive on protecting the public and industry workers, from ionising radiation, must be met by May 13, 2000. A consultative document invites comments on two different ways of measuring exposure to radiation, by the average exposure over five years or by the year. The HSE intend to talk to industry experts, employers and workers representatives during the consultation period.
