Kids' menus at restaurant chains loaded with fat, calories: fatty meals, advertising linked to youth obesity
Article Abstract:
The Center for Science in Public Interest made a study of 20 America's biggest table-service chain restaurant that offer kids' menus which showed that most meals pack had too much saturated fat, calories and sodium to fit into a healthy diet. Research indicated exposure to food advertising affects children's food choices and requests for products in grocery stores.

Thumb sucking and pacifier use
Article Abstract:
Prolonged thumb sucking can cause dental problems in young children, particularly in mouth growth and teeth alignment. Some methods for helping kids break this habit are recommended.
