Knee pain: Conservative treatment may be the answer

Knee pain can be reduced by opting for treatments other than surgery or by undergoing physical therapy and regular exercises. Many conservative therapy approaches like appropriate use of pain relievers, keeping oneself physically fit and losing excess weight, can be used for reducing knee pain.

Article Abstract:
A minimum of 30 minutes of exercise is recommended daily to maintain good health. Activities such as brisk walking, swimming, playing badminton and bicycling can burn off as much as 200 calories daily. Household activities may also count as exercise such as scrubbing floors and painting walls.

Popular excuses for not exercising include lack of time, equipment, space and money, but each of these problems can be overcome. Research shows that moderate activity can prolong life and reduce chances of disability.
