Lymphoid follicle destruction and immunosuppression after repeated CpG oligodeoxynucleotide administration
Article Abstract:
The repeated administration of cytidyl guanosyl oligodeoxynucleotide (CpG - ODN) results in the destruction of lymphoid follicle and reduction in the immune response. Daily injection of 60 micrometer CpG-ODN dramatically alters the morphology and functionality of mouse lymphoid organs.
