The male sexual function is described, focusing on the testis through life. Other areas covered include ejaculation, the management of impotence and sperm production. Factors which affect impotence include diabetes, alcohol abuse, drugs and psychological influences. Impotence management techniques include the elimination of reversible causes and discussion.

Abnormalities of puberty

Article Abstract:

While most young people begin puberty around the age of 14, a small number may show late maturation. Where no disease is found no management is necessary, but in a few cases medical intervention may be required. Information on abnormalities of puberty, including gynaecomastia, precocious puberty and female pseudohermaphroditism, is included.
