Managing bladder symptoms in people with multiple sclerosis
Article Abstract:
Multiple sclerosis, a chronic disease of the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the management of bladder symptoms, which usually occurs when the disease involves spinal cord, is very important as it affects many aspects of patients' daily life. The patients of this progressive disease require ongoing assessment and it is the responsibility of the nurses to respond to the varying and individual needs and expectations of each person.

Article Abstract:
Multiple sclerosis is a common neurological disease diagnosed in adults 20-40 years, more common in women than in men, at a ratio of 3:2. MS is variable in presentation, so diagnosis is not always straightforward and there is no cure at present, although treatments are available.

Self-management education in multiple sclerosis services
Article Abstract:
A discussion of providing good information and support networks for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis is presented. Specialized nurses encourage self-management education, which helps patients to control the management of their condition and also regain confidence.
