Activists protest national parks proposal to profit from microbes
Article Abstract:
Activists are against the U.S. Park Services' plan to allow national parks to share profits from the organisms found there, as the lure to profits might endanger the parks' natural resources and wildlife habitats. The officials are expected to publish the final environmental impact statement in the spring of 2007 and make a decision on the plan in summer.
