Medicare reform opens up health savings accounts to all
Article Abstract:
Health savings accounts (HSA) that are made part of the Medicare reform package are tax-free accounts, which must be paired with high deductible health insurance. The new law allows anyone to start the account, both workers and employers can contribute to the accounts, and patients can pay for medical needs without being taxed even after retirement.
