Migraine and food allergy
Article Abstract:
A survey of patients at the City of London Migraine Clinic revealed that 79% had identified precipitating factors to their migraine, including hormones, stress, missing meals, and overtiredness. Minimal food avoidance can help control migraines, along with regular eating patterns. Some of the most common trigger foods are claimed to be alcohol, cheese and chocolate. A qualified allergy specialist can be contacted if the above fails.
