So you want to be an ... osteopath
Article Abstract:
Osteopathy is an ideal career progression choice for nurses disillusioned with the day-to-day hospital routine. The majority of osteopaths work from private practices although the number of referrals from doctors is increasing as the benefits of joint manipulation and body realignment become more widely known. The average consultation fee is 25 pounds sterling for half an hour, giving a good osteopath earning potential of up to 75,000 pounds sterling per year. It takes up to 6 years to train fully to be an osteopath.

So you want to be a ... homoeopath
Article Abstract:
Many UK nurses are leaving the National Health Service to take up a career in homoeopathy. The profession is un-regulated, which can result in anyone setting themselves up as practitioners without having the proper qualifications. Trained homoeopathicians must train for up to five years before qualifying. Homoeopathy works by curing like with like, such as administering poison ivy to a patient who has been infected by the plant.
