Mouse gene targeting: the cultural mouse
Article Abstract:
The author discusses the results of his research of the specifically targeted mouse mutations. He suggests that almost any specific genetic change can be generated, selected and verified now in culture before being converted to the germ lines of mice which helps to understand the mammalian genome physiology and human function in health and disease.
