Nurse Anesthetist Reaction to the Unexpected or Untimely Death of Patients in the Operating Room
Article Abstract:
Individuals are exposed to death frequently via the news media or the theater screen. sudden, unexpected death experiences are not remote from nurses. These deaths are part of their daily lives and they must learn to deal with them personally while simultaneously comforting the dying patient and his or her family members. Deaths occurring in the operating room have the most profound and personal effect on nurses who administer anesthesia.

Many principles are necessary to maintain physical, mental and spiritual health, including taking a self-needs inventory, trusting judgmental ability, making physical exercise a habit, eating healthily, managing the politics of the workplace, and evaluating stress annually.
