Intellectual property issues in the digital health care world
Article Abstract:
The growing use and exchange of electronic information by health care providers offers challenges concerning intellectual property issues and knowledge of copyright law. While nurses and other health care professionals should work to provide health care information to the public, they can also educate themselves about copyright laws to protect themselves and public users. Nurses should evaluate their on-line patient education services and ensure they meet modern copyright requirements.
