Requirement for T-cell apoptosis in the induction of peripheral transplantation tolerance
Article Abstract:
Immune tolerance cannot be induced in mice with defective T-cell apoptosis. This shows that deletion of alloreactive T cells is necessary for inducing tolerance to a transplant.
