National estimates of out-of-pocket dental costs for HIV-infected users of medical care
Article Abstract:
The out-of-pocket dental care expenditures in HIV infected patients are examined in the HIV Cost and Service Utilization Study conducted at RAND corp. in US. The findings of the study reveals that more than half of the patients consult their private doctors and spend $20.5 million, while remaining patients utilize subsidized public dental care programs and low expenditures. Relevant statistical information of the survey is presented.

The pathologist and the bomb: Averill A. Liebow in Hiroshima
Article Abstract:
Averill A. Liebow served as a U.S medical officer during the World War II against Japan and is considered to be the father of nonneoplastic lung pathology. He studied the effects of the first nuclear bomb on the population of Hiroshima.
