Herbs are popular items for consumers in health food stores. Research done on some herbs indicate that they can be beneficial to health. An extract from the saw palmetto seems to be a remedy for an enlarged prostate. Ginger may cure motion sickness, and echinacea taken properly can stop a cold.

Hold the scalpel! Nonsurgical approaches to slipped discs
Article Abstract:
Slipped discs involve contained and noncontained disc injuries. Nonsurgical treatment in the acute injury phase includes controlled rest, traction and physiotherapy. Exercise is used to treat disc injuries in the rehabilitation phase.
