Nelfinavir induces necrosis of 3T3F44-2A adipocytes by oxidative stress
Article Abstract:
The effects of nelfinavir on the 3T3-F442A adiipocyte cell line are evaluated. The study shows that nelfinavir induces necrosis of adipocytes mediated by a cellular increase of reactive oxygen species.

A novel role for tumor necrosis factor-alpha in regulating susceptibility of activated CD4+ T cells from huamn and nonhuman primates for distinct coreceptor using lentiviruses
Article Abstract:
Tumor necrosis factor can make CD4+ T cells resistant to strains of HIV-1 that use the CCR5 receptor. However, it increases the susceptibility of cells to strains that use the CXCR4 receptor.

Quantification of in vivo replicative capacity of HIV-1 in different compartments of infected cells
Article Abstract:
HIV can only reproduce at the maximal rate in actively infected cells. In latently and persistently infected cells, the reproductive rate is substantially smaller.
