New Kansas City IPA would market direct to employers
Article Abstract:
A group of 900 doctors in the new Kansas City area is planning on IPA that would be marketed directly to large employers and that would attempt to harness the power of integrated computing to measure physicians quality and efficiency. The IPA would use data to try to prove the associations superiority to traditional managed care networks and win over plan sponsors who are fed up with premium escalation.

Bundle of trouble
Article Abstract:
The process of challenging bundling in medical industry would provide relief with reference to revision of physician contracts, sustained pressure from medical association, and scrutiny of insurer behavior in the US courtroom. However, various state medical associations and specially societies are holding meetings and seminars with insurers to protest bundling.
