New for old
Article Abstract:
The ageing population in the U.K. has forced the government to review its attitudes towards caring for the elderly. In the past, older generations have relied upon being looked after by the state when they are unable to cope on their own. However, the time has come for a national debate on how the aged may be cared for in the future. Modern society should restructure services and think of new ways to make older people feel valued.
