On-the-spot interviews available for nurses at NT careers event
Article Abstract:
London's only free nursing career exhibition would take place from 22-23 June 2005 at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London where over 4,000 nurses are expected to attend the event, which offers the chance to meet potential employers face to face and find out about training opportunities. Other new features include an area offering official demonstrations and information, including how to get into Careers Plus, a centre offering advice on PREP, CVs and career development.

The CPD challenge

Nursing is becoming more complex and nurses require being more knowledgeable, due to which the need for them to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) beyond that of PREP requirements is increasing. The nurses can meet the challenges of CPD by preparing oneself mentally, researching all options, and finding the funds.
