Article Abstract:
Nurses in Nottinghamshire are setting up a new company called Principia, partners in Health, to bring together practice nurses, district nurses and health visitors in a uniquely collaborative way of working. The aim of these community nurses is to provide help to those seeking primary health services and in the process reshape the way services are delivered.

Acute care in the community
Article Abstract:
A team of nurses is providing acute care to patients in the community, which is reducing the rate of hospital admissions and speeding up discharge home. An acute care at home (ACAH) service was set up in Cornwall in 2003 as part of modernisation plans to take pressure off hospital trust and to offer patients more accessible care.

Support systems for returners
Article Abstract:
The flexible pathways, opportunities for training and education, and confidence to encourage their skills are provided for the returners who want to rejoin their profession of nursing. The NHS trusts helps such people by providing training and career advisors.
