Article Abstract:
The UK is currently home to around 2,500 refugees from Bosnia, many of whom had extremely traumatic experiences before they left their homeland. The Refugee Council has recognised that they may be suffering from emotional problems, and is now calling for assistance from mental health workers. It is believed that around 70% of the refugees are suffering from depression, especially because families have been broken up.
