Pregnancy in recipients of solid organs - Effects on mother and child
Article Abstract:
Substantial gaps remain about the knowledge of pregnancy for transplant recipeints and its effects on the child. Physicians should be strongly encouraged to report both favorable and unfavorable pregnancy outcomes to existing registries and patients undergoing transplantation should be kept thoroughly informed about the potential risks of pregnancy as well as the risks for the offspring.

Ethical considerations related to pregnancy in transplant recipients
Article Abstract:
The way by which physicians can ethically address fertility issues with female transplant recipients is discussed. Physicians need to be proactive in discussing fertility issues and should counsel their patients regarding the timing of pregnancy, as well as the risks and alternatives.
