Primary health care leads the way

The recent reorganizations of NHS have helped the primary care in general and on nursing in particular transforming primary care into a dynamic and fast-moving field for nurses. Lots of job opportunities in primary care such as child protection, dermatology, diabetes, falls prevention, health education and promotion, HIV/AIDS, mental health, palliative care, and others are listed.

The link between mental health problems and violent behavior
Article Abstract:
The literature on mental illness and violence is reviewed with the aim of clarifying whether there is a link between the two. It is found that people diagnosed with mental illness, whether in hospital, prison or the community, exhibits higher levels of violence than the general public.
