RCN will not ballot on pay

Royal College of Nursing (RCN) will not ballot on pay for nurses and on terms of employment since the start of the NHS in 1948. The RCN will decide on whether or not to approve a new pay system for National Health Service workers.

Pressure on GPs to honour pay rises

General practioners in the United Kingdom may be forced to implement pay hikes for practice nurses because of a new contract. Such a move would give practice nurses similar wages to other NHS nurses.
