Article Abstract:
The study shows that the alcohol intake among the people, especially the older population has tremendously increased in the past few decades, which causes several disorders like poor coordination, blackouts, dehydration and coma. The author suggests that raising the awareness among nurses about the alcohol misuse in older people may help in curing the problem to some extent, as they can then provide a better treatment and care to the patients facing the problem.
