Real men get depressed
Article Abstract:
Depression can be treated when diagnosed, and if sufferers seek help, they can get better. A personal account of how the author's father committed suicide during a state of undiagnosed depression is given. For 25 years, he was led to believe that his father had died of a heart attack, and realisation of the truth served to raise admiration of what Hammond senior had had to cope with.
