Article Abstract:
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) can provide doctors with information about chemicals that could be used by a potential terrorist. This would most likely occur as contamination of food or water or any other type of consumer product. These chemicals could cause certain symptoms that may be difficult to diagnose.

A summary of the anthrax cases in Florida and New York is presented. These cases were caused by a deliberate release of Bacillus anthracis, the bacterium that causes anthrax.
