Relapses and progression of disability in multiple sclerosis
Article Abstract:
Remissions and relapses do not appear to affect the progression of multiple sclerosis, according to a study of 1,844 patients. Multiple sclerosis can be progressive, or can exist in a form called relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.

Vaccinations and the risk of relapse in multiple sclerosis
Article Abstract:
Vaccination does not appear to increase the risk of relapse in patients with multiple sclerosis, according to a study of 643 MS patients who had a relapse. Two percent had been vaccinated in the preceding two months, but 4% had been vaccinated prior to that time.

Natural history of multiple sclerosis with childhood onset
Article Abstract:
A study was carried out to determine the onset of multiple sclerosis before age 16 and the progression of the disease in childhood and adult onset with the level of disability experienced in both cases. Results reveal that patients with childhood-onset multiple sclerosis take longer to reach states of irreversible disability.
