The acid test: potassium may protect against acidosis, muscle loss
Article Abstract:
Scientific evidence indicates that potassium bicarbonate may have preventive properties against metabolic acidosis and muscle loss. However, bodybuilders are not advised to add potassium bicarbonate to their diet yet because the studies conducted so far are not conclusive.
