Removing carious dentin using a polymer instrument without anesthesia versus a carbide bur with anesthesia
Article Abstract:
Clinical outcomes and patient preferences for a new rotary polymer instrument used without local anesthesia (LA) to remove infected dentin is compared to carbide bur technique with LA. Study findings indicate that 70 percent of patients preferred the new instrument.
