Shifting priorities
Article Abstract:
Shift work is a must in hospital providing 24-hour health care, but research has shown that it has a negative impact on health of the nurses, doctors and other related people. Hence, new ways to minimize the negative impact are being designed, which include reducing the shift hours, change in timings, promoting good teamwork and reducing the workload on nurses.

The epidemiology and control of hepatitis C infection
Article Abstract:
Precautions that should be taken to prevent the spread of hepatitis C. Proper handling and disposal of bodily fluids, blood and tissue are the most important steps to control spread of the virus in a hospital or clinical setting. Preventing the sharing of needle among intravenous drug users is the best way to stop the spread of the disease in the community.
