Solubilization of phytosterols in diacylglycerol versus triacylglycerol improves the serum cholesterol-lowering effect
Article Abstract:
This article compares the effects of phytosterols that were dissolved in either diacylglycerol or triacylglycerol on the serum cholesterol levels of healthy men. Findings indicate that the solution of phytosterols and diacylglycerol were significantly more effective in lowering serum cholesterol levels than the solution of phytosterols and triacylglycerol.

Sex differences in measures of body fatness and the possible difference in the effect of dietary fat on body fatness in men and women
Article Abstract:
An American/Chinese study of fat intake and body fatness indicates that obesity is a greater health risk for men than for women. It would appear that even when men and women eat similar foods body fat can vary between the sexes. There is a need for greater research into the higher vulnerability of men than women to excess dietary fat.
