Article Abstract:
Spina bifida is a neural tube defect that involves the incomplete development of the brain or spinal cord and their protective coverings. Spina bifida can be prevented by taking folic supplements three months before conception and for the first three months of pregnancy that could substantially reduce the risk of spina bifida.

Loperamide
Article Abstract:
Loperamide acts on the intestinal muscles to decrease peristalsis, and reduces the volume and increases the bulk of stools. The side effects of loperamide include dizziness, drowsiness, rash, abdominal cramps, and paralytic ileus.
