Spinal stenosis: a subtle source of leg pain
Article Abstract:
Spinal stenosis, in which a narrowing of the spinal canal causes leg pain due to pressure on the spinal nerves, usually results from osteoarthritis. Treatments include the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants, physical therapy, back supports and corticosteroids.
