Strains and sprains still leading cause of nonfatal workplace injuries
Article Abstract:
Strains and sprains, which accounted 4 out of 10 occupational injuries and illness in the United States, is the leading cause of nonfatal injuries at American workplaces in 2004. Using proper lifting techniques can reduce the incidence of strains and sprains in employees, particularly those affecting back.
