Striving for coherence: Psychiatry's efforts over classification
Article Abstract:
A brief description on a proposed schema for psychiatric diagnoses focused on cause rather than symptoms are presented. Mental disorders could be separated into 4-simple and comprehensible clusters and each cluster has its salient, identifying features, which are explained.

Longitudinal assessment of mental health problems among active and reserve component soldiers returning from the Iraq war
Article Abstract:
The Department of Defense had a longitudinal study of the Post-Deployment Health Re-Assessment (PDHRA) related to mental health responses of soldiers from Iraq War. A large cohort missed on initial screening and reserve component soldiers were referred at high rates.

Persons with bipolar disorder are at increased risk of certain medical conditions. Bipolar disorder is usually treated in mental health settings with patients viewing their psychiatric care as their most important form of medical care.
