Sun sensitivity: some drugs and products can cause skin reactions

A photoreaction to the sun is not the same as a sunburn, as the photoreaction is more painful and is usually caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays combined with a chemical in or on the body. Such chemicals are found in certain drugs and over-the-counter skin and hair products.
