Rancho La Puerta, located in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico, offers healthy food and healthy activities. There are no in-room telephones, radios or televisions and no golf courses. Vegetarian meals were prepared, using many foods from the spa's own organic garden.

Summer is a time to slow down and simplify priorities. Though this may not be possible in one's job, it can usually be done at home by relaxing housecleaning standards and eating simply. Exercise should always remain a top priority.
