Sweet dreams: women & sleep: special concerns
Article Abstract:
A National Sleep Foundation survey showed that a significant number of women suffer from sleep disorders. However, certain steps can be taken to get better sleep. These include healthy diet, regular exercise, going to bed about 30 minutes earlier than usual and avoiding salty foods in the evening.

A solid fitness program is healthier and produces better results that a crash program. A woman who wants to get back in shape should begin a low-fat, healthy diet and a program of moderate aerobic exercise. Bodybuilding exercise should target specific body areas.

Issues concerning the size of waists in women are presented. Large waist sizes and the Body Mass Index can identify women at risk from heart defects. Exercises and diet strategies which can reduce waist size are discussed.
