Aquatic exercise, or exercise done while partially submerged in water, provides an excellent cardiovascular and strengthening exercise. Water provides 12 times as much resistance as air, and may be even more efficient than land-based low-impact aerobic exercise. Several aquatic exercise techniques are explained and demonstrated, and information on ordering aquatic exercise accessories is included.
