Article Abstract:
Venous 75%, Arterial 20% and other 5% are the categories that the aetiology of leg ulcers falls into. Mixed aetiology ulcers are very complex and can change their character very rapidly as, for instance, with progressive arterial disease and it is important that other co-morbidities are recognized, as these might add to the complexity of the condition.
