Effective detection of HIV
Article Abstract:
Effective HIV testing requires increasing the number of high-risk individuals who are tested, decreasing the time from infection to detection, increasing the use of home-based tests, and ensuring that all who test positive get appropriate treatment. Rapid tests could provide a result within 10 minutes, which would increase the number of people who receive their test results.
