Deriving calories mainly from fatty foods is not healthy for the body even if the prescribed caloric intake is followed. Caloric fat usually end up as stored bodyfat. Calories from foods rich in carbohydrates and proteins provide bodybuilders with the energy needed to do heavy routines.
