The promise-and perils-of Genetic testing
Article Abstract:
The genetic testing help the parents to know in advance about the problems, and also gives them time to prepare themselves emotionally, make provisions for the birth, or plan to deliver in a special facility. However, currently there is little consensus among practitioners about which tests should be offered to which patients but professional groups are scrambling to set guidelines.

The flu: What every parent must know

Research from Vanderbilt University in Nashville suggests that young kids are very efficient at spreading the flu that has recorded 145 child deaths in the year 2003. The different programs implemented by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are presented.
