The use of pastoral and spiritual support in bereavement care
Article Abstract:
Pastoral and spiritual care is a vital part of an authentic, holistic health care service. It is suggested that nurses need to be aware of the needs of relatives and friends of the deceased and understand their role in practical matters such as death certificates, cremation forms and last offices.

More action required to cut alcohol-related death rate
Article Abstract:
The role of nurses in creating awareness among the public about the ill effects, health hazards and mortality rates due to alcohol consumption is emphasized. Concerns are being raised about the alarming tendency towards larger measures and stronger alcoholic drinks.
