The use of psychosocial interventions
Article Abstract:
Treating severe mental illness involves appropriate medication as well as psychosocial interventions. Based on cognitive behavioral therapy, these interventions assume a complex relationship between environmental, biological, and sociological factors and recognize stressful life events may trigger mental health problems.
